As an existing Bailey Systems client expanded into new third-floor office space, Us Helping Us needed to extend its existing network infrastructure from the basement LAN room to the new offices. The project also required existing cabling to be evaluated and corrected so the expanded space could operate on a reliable, organized network.
Bailey Systems extended the existing network from the basement LAN room to the third-floor offices using a single-mode fiber backbone. Our team corrected and organized existing cabling, installed new network equipment, connected the third-floor infrastructure to the existing network, and added wireless connectivity to support the expanded workspace.
The project scope specifically called for fiber to run from the third-floor network equipment through the network closets to the basement LAN room, where the connection would allow the network switches to communicate.
