Pathway Homes needed a comprehensive exterior surveillance solution for its Hirst Residence, with reliable coverage of the property, entrances, exits, and other key areas. The system also needed intelligent monitoring capabilities to make identifying, reviewing, and responding to security events easier. The original project scope specifically called for exterior cameras, AI-assisted event notifications and playback, secure NVR storage, and installation, programming, and training.
Bailey Systems deployed an integrated Ubiquiti UniFi surveillance solution combining AI-powered cameras, high-resolution PTZ technology, centralized recording, and supporting network infrastructure. Cameras were strategically positioned to provide broad exterior coverage while advanced detection and auto-tracking capabilities enhanced real-time monitoring.
A standout feature of the project was the installation of two Ubiquiti UniFi AI PTZ Precision 4K cameras. These cameras provide 31× optical zoom, infrared night vision up to approximately 328 feet, and human and vehicle detection.
The PTZ cameras were positioned along the sides of the residence and configured with auto-tracking, allowing the system to follow detected activity and provide detailed long-range monitoring.

To support the surveillance system, Bailey Systems installed a Ubiquiti Network Video Recorder G2, 24 TB enterprise surveillance storage, a UniFi Pro 24-port PoE switch, UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus, and outdoor weatherproof Cat6 cabling. A locking equipment cabinet and UPS backup were also incorporated to help protect critical equipment.
